The OR/4-TOR strapping machine has been developed to create fully automatic wrapping and packaging lines.

The machine carries out the horizontal strapping of goods on pallets, fixing one or more straps at different heights, as programmed by the operator, by means of a device that also controls the strapping cycle at the same time.

The tensioning action is carried out by a special dynamometric device which makes sure that any residual elasticity in the strap is fully exploited.

If the need to strap "toroidal" loads such as reels occurs, the OR/4-TOR strapping machine can be fitted with extendable grippers which automatically locate the core of the reel that needs to be strapped.

By passing through the centre of the reel, the grippers allow the "strapping ring" to be closed and the load to be secured correctly.
